The Tobata Gion Oyamakasa Festival is an event held at the Gion Festival in Tobata, Kitakyushu City.
At noon on the 14th, four Yamakasa floats set up 12 flags, and a curtain of gold and silver thread is strung around them as a procession.
At night, the Yamakasa is decorated with 309 lanterns stacked on top of each other, and the lanterns are transformed into Oyamakasa.
